COVID VACCINATIONS FOR HEALTH AND CARE WORKERS **ALERT UPDATE**

Please do not post or hand in Covid vaccination consent forms to the surgery, as we have now received a website link you can go to. This is to request a Covid vaccination if you are a health care worker or care assistant.

The Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) has decreed that all Health & Care workers should be among the first group of people to receive a Covid vaccination.

We have found that it is extremely difficult for us to identify all those of our patients who fit into this category but, if you have any queries regarding being a health worker or carer, please click on the link below and book an own appointment at St Richards:-

When you attend for a test of any kind you will be told how long you should expect to wait for the results.

This is NOT always guaranteed.

Please bear this in mind and call the surgery if you have not received after 7 days or once sufficient time has elapsed. Please try to call us in the afternoon.

Our reception staff are not qualified to comment on individual results. They can only advise patients what values have been reported or any subsequent comments that have been noted by our GPs. Please don't ask a receptionist what a particular result means - this can only be done by a qualified clinician.

Please note that we do have a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection. In this respect, we will only give out results to the person they relate to unless that person has given prior permission for their release or if they are not capable of understanding them.
