Using Our New Online Consultation Service

SystmConnect is our new online consultation system. It allows you to contact the surgery quickly and safely for medical or administrative requests, without needing to wait on the phone.

What is SystmConnect?

SystmConnect is our online consultation service. It replaces AccuRx for most requests and links directly to your medical record, helping our team to:

  • Respond appropriately to your needs
  • Prioritise urgent requests safely
  • Reduce waiting times

What can I use SystmConnect for?

Medical Requests

You can contact us about:

  • new medical problem
  • An ongoing or non‑urgent condition

Depending on your choice, you may be asked to select a category (for example breathing problems, skin, or stomach problems) and answer a few questions.
These questions help the clinical team understand your problem and decide the most appropriate next step.

Some requests are prioritised as urgent and reviewed by our Duty Team the same day where appropriate.

Administrative Requests

You can also use SystmConnect for:

  • Fit notes (sick notes)
  • Medication queries
  • Requests for letters
  • General admin queries

These requests go directly to the appropriate team, helping us respond more efficiently.

What happens after I submit a request?

Once submitted:

  • Your request is reviewed by the appropriate team
  • We will contact you via text message, phone, or through the system
  • If needed, we may book you an appointment or ask for more information

You do not need to chase us — your request is safely visible to the team.

What if I can’t use the online system?

If you are unable to complete the form yourself:

  • A member of staff can complete a SystmConnect request on your behalf
  • Please contact Reception for support

Can I still call the surgery?

Yes. If you are unable to use the online system, you can still contact the surgery by phone.
